Ok ... Ok ... Ok ... so I have been M.I.A., for awhile now, on the whole blogging thing. *sigh*
I will just apologize now.
Sorry.
I must admit ... I got alot of emails asking me when I was gonna blog again ... if I quit blogging ... if my life suddenly got boring and I had nothing to blog about ... if my computer broke ... what was I suddenly doing with my time if I was not blogging ... if I moved my blog to another site and forgot to notify people ... if I forgot my password and could not log into my blog ... if I was on strike.
It was quit flattering to know that my internet peeps check in on my blog page, often enough, to know that I had not blogged in nearly a month.
A MONTH!
A FREAKING MONTH!
I KNOW!
What was I thinking?
GEEEZZEEE!!!!
What in the WORLD was I doing ... that blogging was put on the back burner?
What could have possibly take blogging off my #1 priorty list ... and move it clear to the bottom ... and then two more spots below that spot ... and 4 spots below that?
Well ... let's just say ... that summer came to an end. The tan lines faded away. The AC bill was still sky high. Alarm clocks were suddenly being set again. And I was back into the full swing of things.
Summer is not only a break for the kids from school ... but it is a MAJOR break from my SUV visiting the gas pump frequently ... because Clint and I are CONSTANTLY driving a kid to and from this place or that place at this time ... no wait ... this kid is at that time ... or is that kid at this time?
Awww crap!!! I forgot who goes where ... and when ...
QUICK KIDS ... go look at the calendar and see which one of you has to be where today ... and at what time.
I LIVE by my calendar.
Even Clint has realized to write something in on the calendar if he wants me to show up to it. He knows if it is not written on there in blue ink ... then I have no idea about it.
If I did not have that large-jumbo-super sized calendar stuck to the frig ... I would not know which way was up. I HAVE to have my calendar. I would be LOST without it. (And for those of you that know me really well ... know that I get lost driving if I come out of my drive way to fast ... so can you imagine how lost I would be without my calendar?!?!?!? Exactly!!!!!)
Back to the topic of summer vacation.
Awww ... the summer months are so perfect. There is hardly anything on the calendar. There is swimming lessons ... volleyball camp ... birthday parties ... T-Ball practice ... T-Ball games ... and who we are gonna meet at the pool on which day of the week. Perfect schedule if you ask me!
Suddenly ... August hits ... and the list is filled up with a bit more.
September ... there are still a few free days during the week and a weekend here of there without some darn writing on it.
October ... I can not see a blank spot anywhere on this f**king calendar.
AHHHHH!!!!!
Yes ... I will fully admit ... we are way to busy. Actually ... busy does not even seem to describe what we have going on in our household. I am pretty sure that I passed myself in the hallway this past Wednesday inbetween Harleigh going to Youth Group and me taking Breeanna to hip hop class ... pulling into Miss Amanda's Dance Academy ... and suddenly realizing that Breeanna did not have hip hop class at 7:15 ... she has it at 7:45. AHHHHH!!!!! See!!! I did not look at my calendar ... and when I do not look at my calendar ... bad things happen. And I mean BAD!!!
So ... to pin point why exactly I have not been blogging ... let me fill you in on the inside scoop.
Monday:
Harleigh has gymnastics at Pinnicle from 4:20 to 5:10
Breeanna has volleyball practice from 6:30 to 7:30
Eythen has basketball practice from 6:00 to 7:00
Tuesday:
Breeanna has honor choir practice at 7:30 am to 8:00 am
Harleigh has hip hip class from 6:15 to 6:45
Breeanna has a volleyball game anywhere from 6:00 to 8:00.
Wednesday:
Harleigh has Youth Group from 6:30 to 8:00
Eythen has Youth Group from 6:00 to 7:30
Breeanna has hip hop class from 7:45 to 8:15
Thursday:
Breeanna has honor choir practice from 7:30 am to 8:00 am
Eythen has soccer practice from 5:30 to 6:30
Clint coaches soccer practice from 5:30 to 6:30
Breeanna has advanced ballet, tap and jazz class from 7:15 to 8:30
Friday:
I am to tired to even get out of bed ... but this is normally the day that I volunteer in the school, have lunch with the kids and help with the PTO. But ... nothing is ever set in stone in my world ... so ... your guess is as good as mine on what can transpire on a Friday for me. A nap is not one of them though.
Saturday:
Eythen has a soccer game in the morning
Breeanna has a volleyball game later in the morning
I take a nap in the afternoon *fingers crossed* (not holding my breath of that one though)
Sunday:
I would like to say that we go to church each and every Sunday ... but ... catching up on sleep ... wins. I am sorry God! I pray every night before I go to bed. Promise.
So ... there you have it. This is my excuse as to why I have been avoiding the blogging. I promise to put my priorities in check ... and make sure that blogging is more towards the top ... maybe ... if I have time ... I will try to get to it soon ... maybe in the next few days ... or ... well ... who the hell knows.
Please note that this blog is being typed in the middle of the night ... 2:00 am to be exact. Clint is snoring (extremely loud). The kids look as sweet as angels all snug in their beds. I put my final load of laundry in the dryer and made my last batch of cookies for the soccer cook out tomorrow afternoon that Clint decided to "host" (aka: Jill needs to take care of the details) for all of his soccer kids and parents.
FYI Clint ... there are only 12 kids on your soccer team this season. When you go to coach little league football next year with Preston ... please know that I am not assisting in any shape or form a cookout for over 40 kids and parents at the end of the football season. You are on your own for that one. *kisses*
